Pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving :)

My Uncle Allen and Aunt Kim had a pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner last Saturday night. Shane had a South football game so he wasn't able to go with us. I think I ate enough for both of us, though :)

Grandma, momma, and Jamie
All the great-grands playing....

Uncle John, cousin Casey with her mom and dad, Christie and Timothy (they also have 4-year-old boy-girl twins, Houston and Haley)
No words needed here....
or here....
Grandma about to lead the family in prayer. There were sad moments here because my grandpa always led the prayer and he passed away right after Thanksgiving last year....
Aunt Kim, Jason and precious Juliana...
Silly girls....
Jocie with PawPaw, of course :)
My mom with her three brothers John, Tim, and Allen...
Aunt Kim keeps her tree up all year and just covers it with a sheet so that each year she just removes the sheet and whollaaa....tree up and decorated! Brilliant :)
My brother Douglas and his wife, Juliet....
cute little Landon.....
Cousin Kaylea pushing Jocie in the swing....
Gab's turn....
MawMaw with Gabbie and Kaylea....
Minus Gabs, plus Jocie :)

Tractor ridin' time....

Extreme Makeover...Jocie-style

The girls and I went to Jay last Saturday for a big family Pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner (post to follow this one). While the girls were at my parents, Jocie managed to find a pair of scissors and give herself a little trim. AWESOME.
To finish off her extreme makeover, she found some fingernail polish that she thought was lipgloss and painted her lips with it, along with a few streaks in her eyebrow and her hair. That was loads of fun to get off :)

Bienville Square Christmas Tree Lighting

Last Friday we headed to downtown Mobile for the lighting of the tree at Bienville Square. Richard and Brynn came along with us. Jocie talked Mr. Richard into giving her a seat on his shoulders :)

and of course, Gab had to join her on Mrs. Brynn shoulders :)
Wow....could Gabs look any happier???

Jocie wanted to sit in Santa's lap. Gab wanted to see him from a distance (shocking, I know).

She was SO excited :)

About 10 minutes before the tree was going to light up, Gabs started saying that her tummy hurt and she wanted to go home. GREAT. You never know if she is just being a party pooper or if she is serious. Only time will tell....
Jocie, on the other hand, was feeling super :)
I'm pretty sure the Fonti are officially part of our family....I mean, they might as well be :)
The Baxter's and the Fell's were also downtown for the festivities....
Drumroll, please....yes, the momma was excited, too :)
TaDaaaa!!!!

After the tree and the streets were lit up, Gabbie started to complain more about her tummy hurting.....and it was only a matter of a few minutes before she threw up 5 times on the sidewalk while I held her (and yes, it splattered all over my shoes and pants....NICE). At least we were able to make it to the sidewalk away from the majority of the hundreds of people downtown. Such fun times :) Great start to the holiday season!! whoop whoop!

Meet my teenagers!! OH.MY.GOODNESS.

Baby Shep!

Meet baby Shep! Scott and Annie added this new adorable little guy to their family on November 14th. I had the honor of being the photographer during the delivery. I have been in on 3 other deliveries, including Annie's 3rd son, Davis, but this was my first eye-witness account of an all-natural birth. Needless to say, Annie did AMAZING. It was an incredible experience to be a part of.....and look at the end result!! He is precious!

Total adorableness!!
Does she look like she just delivered a baby??? Ummmmm, NO....you are my hero, Annie :)

Morgan giving Shep some love....
A Gator baby....bless his heart :)
