That Fast....

I go to the laundry room for just a couple of minutes to put some clothes in the washer and dryer, etc. etc. I walk back into the living room and in the VERY short time I had stepped away this is what had transpired....

I ask them what the heck they are doing and they quickly responded "we building our house mommy and playing inside of it". OK.....
Pink-a-baby covered up gently with a placemat from the dining room table :)

These two can make a mess super fast but they sure can have fun together :)

Baby Jaguar

Some of our good friends, Mike and Charlene, gave the girls a stuffed baby jaguar. Needless to say they were beyond pumped. They think it is SouthPaw's (the USA mascot from the football games) baby. This picture of Gabbie is a perfect snapshot of their feelings for the baby jaguar :)

And this is a perfect snapshot of their equal love for the baby jaguar colliding with their selfish hearts of wanting the baby jaguar all to themselves :)
They even have to put baby jaguar to "nite-nite" on the futon in the sunroom...
Nite-nite hugs and kissies, too!

Aunt Juuuuah comes to visit!

Aunt "Juuuah" came in town last weekend to shoot a wedding and she stayed with us while she was here. The girls LOOOOOVE Aunt Juuuah and especially love for her to paint their "hands and feet" :)

Jocie and Aunt Juuuah are definitely related b/c they both LOVE to just chill :)
They also talked her into having a porch picnic as well....
with the freshest food options, of course :)
During the picnic I noticed that Gab had plumber's crack so I decided to snap a pic because this kind of thing always cracks me up (no pun intended) and I know she will LOOOOVE me for it when it's on the slide show at her rehearsal dinner one day :)....anywhoo....later that evening I uploaded these pics to the computer and Julia and I were looking at them and we noticed that Gabbie had a sticker at the bottom of her shirt. As I looked closer at it I realized that it was a sticker from one of the play horsie's ears from the birthday party that we had been at earlier that day and it said "PRESS HERE"....hahahaha! Hilarious that somehow that sticker got off of the horsie's ear and onto the back of Gab's shirt and was still on there at the same time that she had plumber's crack. TOO FUNNY!!! I wish I had seen it at the time so I could have tried it out to see if it worked! :)

Fun with Daddy!

Helping daddy make home-made pizza!!
They would put some cheese and pepperoni on the pizza and then they would put some in their mouth then they would put some more on the pizza and then in their mouth....

The girls wanted to help daddy rake the yard last weekend....

Jocie taking a break :)
Gabbie cleaning her rake, of course :)

The Big Reveal!

Last weekend the Spivey's had a "reveal party". I had heard of these but had never actually been to one. Morgan has two boys already and was totally convinced that this third baby was another boy. Everyone at the party cast their vote on what they thought the baby was going to be.....
She had made a cake and had filled it with either blue or pink icing so that when she cut it we would all know what she was having.....drum roll please.......PINK ICING!!!! IT'S A GIRL!!!!! (that was my vote, Shane had picked boy) Needless to say, she was shocked! SO fun!! Little girls are awesome....and no, I am not biased at all :) I am also excited to say that Shane and I have been waiting for someone to pick one of our two favorite names for a baby....either....ShaJuan OR LaShane. It's our names combined. I mean, who can do that with their names so easily like we can. WELL....we decided at their reveal party that we would also reveal these amazing name options....and we are ecstatic to say that the Spivey's chose ShaJuan!! Wow. What a privilege and honor for them to pick one of our combo names. We cannot wait to meet sweet little ShaJuan. She is truly blessed to have a name like that :) Your welcome, Spivey's, you're welcome.
She also had several of her favorite "cravings" during this pregnancy so far...meatballs, cheese ball, apple dip, cucumbers and ranch, little pickle sandwich thingys (which were AMAZING), chili-cheese dip....all of which were super yummy. Such a fun first reveal party experience!!! We are SO excited for you guys!!!

Celebrating the Lyles!

While Kristen was here last week visiting from California, her and her twinsie, Lauren, decided to go ahead and celebrate their birthday before she had to go back to Cali even though their birthday wasn't until the next week. They invited me to come along (THANKS SO MUCH!) as well as Missy (yes, "Missy the twirler" that the girls are obsessed with :)
The Lyles doing one of their normal picture poses while we waited for our seats....
at Bonefish, of course! What a great place for a birthday celebration!
Me and Kristen....

Lauren and Missy....
Fresh Apple Martini....it tasted like a chilled apple pie...no joke. It was amazing.
This was Kristen's first time EVER to Bonefish!! SOOO obviously she had to have one of those fresh apple martinis AND bang-bang shrimp. It just doesn't get much better than that :)
Love you guys!! Thanks so much for your friendships and for letting me celebrate with you guys! It was super fun!!
