After we hung out at PawPaw & MawMaw's house for a while, we headed over to Uncle Allen & Aunt Kim's to have our extended family Christmas celebration. First we ate....AGAIN.... :)
We got to see family that we don't get to see very much....My Uncle Tim & Aunt Teresa live in Tuscaloosa. To say they are Bama fans would be a major understatement :)
Grandma Burch welcoming everyone.....
and saying the blessing over our food and the evening....
After dinner it was time for firework! OK, so are we the ONLY family that shoots fireworks for Christmas?? We have done that my entire life. The first year we were married and Shane was at my house for Christmas, he looked at me like as was crazy when I told him we shot fireworks on Christmas Eve. It was the first time he had ever heard that!?!?! Anyone? Anyone?
Well, regardless, the kiddos were PUMPED....
Waiting for the show to start :)
Annnnnnd they're off!
Kaylea making "fog" in the cold air ;)
Annnnnnd here come some more....
The grand-finale deserved an applaud :)
Time for the great-grands to open some gifts!
Mass chaos!
SO excited about their new baby dolls :)
After the kiddos finished reeking havoc tearing into their gifts, it was time for Grandma Burch to read the Christmas story and share the Hope of Jesus with every one there. She has done this every year as long as I can remember. It's so very special. She is an amazing woman.
Everyone listens to Grandma when she talks....if you don't....she will let you know ;)
LOVE that woman.
Dirty Santa Time!!
My brother scoping out all of his options :)
MawMaw excited about the fancy watch she just stole :)
We ended the night with a pic of Grandma Burch with all 13 of her great-grandkids. What a legacy!
