Road Trip

Last week me, Amy, and 4 kids piled into the sexy van and drove to Mobile. There were several times throughout the drive that I concluded that we were officially crazy for attempting to do this again. Amy's kids travel awesome. My kids are completely psycho in the car. They REFUSE to sleep AT ALL. Instead they SCREAM their heads off the ENTIRE drive. Very fun. Amy took a pic of me (above) attempting to calm Gabbie down by touching her (occasionally this works). It did work for a few minutes, but then my shoulder went completely numb from being in such a crazy position, so I had to stop. Screaming resumed. Jocelyn screamed so loud for so long that she finally threw up. Yes, that is right, vomited. Poor Amy cleaned it up b/c I was driving. Bless you, Amy. Did I mention that her kids actually SLEEP THROUGH my kids ridiculous screaming?? Yes, I don't know how, but they do. Needless to say, we made it to Mobile in record time b/c I was determined to get there as fast as possible so that the screaming would cease.

We stopped for lunch at this awesome McDonald's that has this huge play room where the kiddos can just run around like crazy and play. It was much needed.

Journey driving

Yes, that is our children 3 stories up. Don't really know how they got up there. Didn't really care at the moment :)

While we were in Mobile, the girls and I went to a Jaguars football game. It was lots of fun. We tailgated at the Loyd's tent (we also stayed with them while in Mobile...thanks SOOOO much!).

The girls cheering on the Jags!

At the game. They LOVED the band.

I took the girls to a pumpkin patch in Mobile with my friend Ariel and her son Jake. We tried to get pics of all three of them. That wasn't happening. They loved the pumpkins. They thought they were balls to throw. Not good. They got ticked that they couldn't pick up the big ones. Then they found the little ones. Nice.

Jocelyn and Jake...the only decent picture with him and at least one of mine :)

One of my friends, Lauren, is driving her grandparent's car at the moment...yes, an El Camino. Classic. Love it. I had to get a pic of the girls in it.

The girls with Banks, Travis and Stephanie's son. I'm pretty sure they traumatized him with their screaming while we were there....sorry about that :)

After we stayed in Mobile a few days visiting friends, etc., the girls and I headed over to Jay to visit my family. On the way, we stopped in Pensacola to see my high school coach (Ms. K). She has never met the girls yet. She didn't know what she was getting into by letting them into her house. They destroyed the place in record time. It was amazing to watch. Below is a beautiful arrangement that Jocelyn put together for Ms. K. Amazing.

She showed them where the Tupperware was located. Bad idea :)
Sorry about your house! It was so great to see you!!

The girls and I with my grandma and grandpa.

Isn't this pic of Jocelyn and my grandpa so cute?!

My dad (Paw Paw) taking the girls to the pond to feed the fish. They LOVED it!

The girls, Paw Paw and cousin Kaylea

Maw Maw, Aunt Juliet, cousin Landon and the girls playing outside. They LOVE the sandbox.

Cousin Landon playing in the tub with the girls.

Gabbie with her pink John Deer hat on. Sweet.

The day before we left, Gabbie threw a massive fit in the yard. Here are a few pics I was able to capture of the tantrum. I thought she was just ticked off that day...but then I realized the next day that she was just trying to prepare me for the ride home. The girls and I had to make the trip back to Orlando by ourselves. Yes, I am officially crazy. I thought they screamed on the way to Mobile and that it really couldn't get any worse. I was wrong. I even gave them benedryl after lunch to see if that would make them sleep. Not so much. Jocelyn threw up twice and Gabbie threw up once from screaming so much. I made it home in a new record time. Thank you Jesus for not letting me get a ticket (b/c I would have totally deserved one :) The traveling was a complete nightmare, but it has to be done to see friends and family...so, it's worth it to me. I'm sure I'll probably even do it again after I give myself a few months to recover :)

GOMOTT Fall Party

GOMOTT had their fall party a couple weeks ago. The girls had a blast. Here they are going down the "big" slide all by themselves :)

Gabbie "trying" to climb up the ladder...

Our attempt to get a pic of me and the girls in their ballerina(is that how you spell that?) costumes. Getting good pics are almost impossible these days.

Next time I need to pin up their tops...they hung just a little bit low :)

I Just Couldn't Decide...

A few weeks ago we had the girls' 18 month pics. They were all so great, I just had to post them all. When we move, I will go through major withdrawal from our photographer down here, Emily Anderson. She is fabulous.

Sweet Sisters...

Please take notice of Shane's 3 foot long tongue...I will add that Gabbie was not being very cooperative for the pictures, so Shane was doing "whatever it takes" to get her to smile...what a trooper :)

Have I ever mentioned that my children look TOTALLY different from each other?!?

Jocelyn is signing for "more"....she does that often, especially regarding food :)

My favorite family shot

Sweet Gabbie (and her two tiny bottom teeth...she still only has 6 teeth. Jocelyn has 12!)

Jocelyn looks like she is walking the runway!

My babies look like little girls....

I LOVE this picture

If this is not Jocelyn, I don't know what is :)

Tumbling

I take the girls to tumbling class once a week at the YMCA. The class is 45 minutes long. They sing a few songs in the beginning and then the teacher gets out all the cool tumbling stuff and lets the kids go crazy. Shane got to come one day with me so I was able to snap a few pics. They both bend over and put their heads down and wait for someone to flip them over. It's hilarious. They will stay in that position forever until someone flips them. Jocelyn actually did a flip on her own the other day. It was so cute!

Whew!! This is hard work...we need to take a break!!

Jocelyn rocking Gabbie back and forth

By the end of the class, Shane became the main piece of equipment :)

GOMOTT...whoop, whoop!!

GOMOTT..aka.. Greater Orlando Mothers of Twins and Triplets. This is the multiples group I am a member of down here in Orlando. Twice a year they put on an enormous consignment sale. Members get to come an hour early and shop before the general public can enter. People line up for hours before the doors open....in other words...it's a big deal :) SO....anywhooo, a few weeks ago they had their fall sale. Back in August I signed up to be a seller in this sale. (only the first like 30 people to sign up can actually sell). It's really organized and detailed. You have to use these special tags with your GOMOTT member on them and tag each item. You make 90% of what you sell and the other 10% goes to the Ronald McDonald House charity. Anyways, I started tagging back at the end of August (the sale wasn't until Oct. 3rd). I wanted to get a head start. I didn't really know how long it was going to take me to tag everything I was selling.....WELL...it took me 6 weeks!!!! Yes, that is right, 6 whole weeks. Every night after the girls would go to bed, I would set up my tagging station and tag and tag and tag....by the end of the 6 weeks, I was SOOOO over it...very ready to be done with the tagging. On Friday you have to go set up (I was there from like 2pm till 10pm). My mom and grandma came down to help with the girls for the weekend (thanks!). 0 Then Saturday you have to be there at 6:30am to work the sale. Then you have to stay after and break down everything, clean-up, etc. It was a long weekend. I was very tired. I really didn't know how I did at the sale because when it was over, I felt like I was bringing alot of stuff (esp. clothes) back home with me. I was thinking that the 6 weeks of tagging every single night wasn't really worth it. Well, my friends, I was wrong!! I got my check in the mail and I make $1000 at the sale!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! It was SOOOO worth it! Yay for GOMOTT!!

Here is a few pics from the sale:
