All Blacks: Memorial Day Weekend

Our Memorial Day weekend was loaded with fun....mostly involving water of some sort since it's a zillion degrees these days :) Saturday we spent a good chunk of the day at a friend's pool. The girls LOOOOOVE the water and especially love when daddy is able to play in the water with them :)

Saturday night we went over to our friends, the Spivey's, for dinner. Sadly, I have no pics from our fabulous time with them b/c when I took by camera out to take some pictures, it was dead. Awesome :(

Sunday afternoon we headed over to the Steedley's to play in some more water....this time it was a sprinkler & water guns!!

After the water wars were over, Shay cooked up some amazing pancakes for everyone to devour. They were super yummy. And we had watermelon as a side, of course :)

On Memorial Day my parents returned from a cruise they had taken to Cozumel and since the boat docks in Mobile they decided to stop by and visit for a bit. The girls insisted they wear their cool Memorial Day headbands that Gigi gave them. Hilarious.

A little later my brother, his wife, and their two sons drove over to spend the day with us. We all headed to a pool to escape the heat.

After we swam all morning, had lunch, and swam some more, we went home so the kiddos could take a nap. After nap time, we packed back up and headed to the Meduna's pool for a cookout they were having....I told you we spent most of the weekend in the water...
