Pumpkins, Costumes, & Halloween Fun!

Picking out a pumpkin to carve....they wanted the one in front of them....we talked them into getting one just a TAD bid smaller ;)

Gigi came to visit for a few days (thus, the family pic above vs. Shane and the girls pic b/c I would have had to take the picture :). After we picked out a pumpkin we had lunch at Chick-fil-A. Yes, I know you are shocked.

Attempt #1 to get a pick of Gigi and the girls....
Attempt #2....

Attempt #3...Yay! Gigi finally looked at the camera :)

Pumpkin-carving time!

Jocie loved digging the "yuck" out of the inside....

Gabbie wanted NOTHING to do with that! ha!

But she was all about cleaning the pumpkin's outside....

It looks like she waxed it ;)

Still cleaning....
Yeppppp....

Carving the face....

Gabbie wanted to autograph the pumpkin :)

Currently this is her entire signature....she writes it on EVERYTHING.....it includes her name.....a heart....a smiley face...and a colored-in square. Hilarious.
Checking out the finished product in their room :)
After the carving was done, the girls got a package in the mail from Aunt Julia and Uncle Lance...
They just HATE getting things in the mail ;) haha

Yay!!
We love our gifts!!! Thanks so much Uncle Lance and Aunt Julia!!!

At one of the gyms I teach at all the instructors had to dress up for a big Halloween Bash we were having. The theme was decades...60's, 70's, or 80's. I went with 80's, naturally. I mean, it just DOESN'T get any better than the 80's!!
Drumroll please............................

Here it is people. YES. I wore this in public. Not only did I wear it. I taught 3 classes in it. I have officially lost my mind. That is the only logical explanation! ha!
