Christmas Celebrations-Part 1

Christmas Morning!!!
Mark & Georgie were super pumped to have to get up at the crack of down on Christmas morning ;)

Lighting the Christmas Candle!

Stocking time!
Mommy accidently broke Jocie's piggy bank so she was pumped about getting a new one for Christmas :)

M & G were finally waking up :)

Gabbie had been asking for MONTHS for a pink sparkly pillow to "decorate" her bed with.....True excitement :)
Twin baby Cabbage Patch babies!

Walkie-Talkies!!
It's crazy to me that they can read the names on the presents and tell us who each one if for.....THAT.IS.NUTS.
Candy Land.....princess style :)

Georgie acting all surprised about her gifts from Mark....even though she picked everything out herself two days earlier! :)

Gabbie was SO proud of her gift to daddy. She hand-made her present and wrapped it all by herself. She insisted on wrapping it with princess paper (she said it was because she and Jocie were daddy's princesses....awwww!!! tear, tear! :) and she taped it with athletic tape she found under our bathroom sink and then finished it off with 6 of her hair bows. It had been under the tree for 3 weeks. She couldn't wait for daddy to open it!

A hand-written letter and a beautiful picture was what she made her daddy. PRECIOUS.

Shane took the girls the week before Christmas for them to buy me something from Christmas. Gabbie got me "really warm, fuzzy, comfy & cozy Christmas socks".....and they were definitely all those things! So great! Shane said she INSISTED on getting me something warm, fuzzy, comfy, and cozy. They went through several items....but she finally picked the socks :)

Jocie picked me out a bright pink hat. Love it!

The girls wanted me to get daddy a new workout shirt b/c his other shirts "stink really, really bad!!" :)))
yay!
More workout shirts!!!

The girls helping me open my gift from Shane....
A new AWESOME watch!!!

All the gifts opened! Now it's time to try them out!

They wanted to check out their new play-doe kit.....
While Aunt Georgie whipped up some pancakes from scratch, bacon, and eggs!!

Decorating their play-doe cake!

Gabbie said it was a "wedding cake". She is OBSESSED with everything wedding :)

Awesome Christmas breakfast!! Thanks Aunt Georgie!

Next stop: Cinderella art stuff!

Then is was time for Uncle Mark& Aunt Georgie to teach the girls how to play soccer....

Beautiful form Jocie :)

Jocie helped Georgie make some meat pies for lunch....A New Zealand staple....

She used her play-doe rolling pin to roll out the crust.....love it!
While Jocie was cooking, Gabbie was trying testing out her "skating across the wood floor really fast skills" wearing mommy's Christmas socks.... :)

Princess Candy Land playin' time....
Georgie and I decided to cook up a scrumptious Christmas lunch/dinner. I even busted out our Christmas china that we haven't used in FOREVER. The girls helped me set the table....they were SO excited :)
The yummy BIRD....

I was so excited about eating the awesome food, that I forgot to take any pics of our entire spread.....but yes, it was oh so yummo. After dinner, Georgie & Mark went to visit Katie and her fam and we just hung out at the house.....Oh, and listened to tornado sirens blare and had to get in the bathtub because a tornado was spotted like half a mile from our house. AWESOME. Def. made for a not-so-boring evening I guess. Merry Christmas :)

The next day we headed over to Jay to celebrate with my family.

Here are the girls and Kaylea help Aunt Emily finish up her deviled eggs....

Patiently waiting for the food to get ready :)

PawPaw carving the turkey....

Yay! Food time!

PawPaw's favorite part....the turkey neck.....EEEEEWWWWWWW!!

Mark was PUMPED about his enormo turkey leg....

Yay....there's left-overs for later!

Some post-meal wrestling.....
Emily getting desert ready. YAY.

After we ate WAY too much, it was time to dive into these....
Landon like Aunt Georgie ALOT :)
Trying to get all the grandkids in a pic....that's always a task :)
Waiting for all the gifts to be passed out.....EXCITED.

Landon was the youngest so he went first.....a loud playing guitar! Super :)
The girls' turn....
Princess Barbies!!!!!

Autn Juliet showing off her new PJs from MawMaw....
Aunt Emily's PJs......hmmmmm, wonder what I'll get ;)
Aunt Georgie ripping open her gift....

Mark and his new warm, fuzzy, Christmas blanket....
Uncle D excited about his workout jacket....

My turn.....what could it be!?!??

MawMaw loves her some new work scrubs....
The girls given PawPaw his picture....
Landon showing off his new trucks....

Look at this face :)
Ashton with his camo walkie-talkies....
Uncle Josh giving a big Christmas grin for the camera :)

PawPaw always tries to guess what his presents are before he opens them.....and he is right 99% of the time!
A beater! He didn't guess it this time! Douglas and Juliet actually tricked him ....that NEVER happens :)

He even put it on and modeled for everyone!

Making fun of my brother for shaving his body hair off :)
Douglas and Juliet actually got my mom a matching beater....however it looks like it could even be a beater dress. This pic is def. a KEEPER. :)
MawMaw & PawPaw got the girls cross necklaces. They LOOOOOOVED them.

One more to go....the "WAY BIG ONE"!

Skooters!!!! For the daddy to put together. HE.WAS.PUMPED. :)

Aunt Georgie helping the girls stuff their home-made teddy bears....
While Landon played some of his favorite tunes....

A year ago I would have NEVER imagined this being our family picture this Christmas. The Lord is SO GOOD....NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH HIM.

And this is our "crazy" pic :)
