Christmas Celebrations- Part 3

After we spent the night in Jay, we loaded up the sexy van and started the "fun" ride to Habersham :) I'm pretty sure we were on the road for 42 seconds before Gabbie asked if we were there yet. Yay!

Chillin'

We actually made it to Georgia without our car exploding so we were pretty pumped :)
When we got there HayHay was getting the turkey ready....I'm pretty sure all we ever do it EAT :)

Festive place settings awaiting us....

HayHay bought this random whatever-it-is for the girls b/c he thought they would like it. Yep, he was right :)

Gabbie decided to make it the centerpiece on their "tea party" table :)

Gigi made Meme's red velvet cake recipe. It was D.I.V.I.N.E. It's actually the only red velvet recipe that Shane can eat b/c she made hers with no cocoa specifically so Shane could eat it. It's his favorite cake ever and a few weeks before Christmas he asked his mom if she could make MeMe's cake for him. Well, she did. And she did a darn good job :)
Jocie agreed...

After dinner we had to wait for Uncle Lance & Aunt Julia to arrive from Louisville before we could do presents. The girls decided to pass the time with some cirque du soleil  moves.... :)

Along with some chalk-holds.....
They're here! They're here!

Yay!!!!
Time for presents....again :)
Waiting oh so patiently....
for 1.2 seconds.... :)
They were so excited to help hand out gifts!

Nike tennis shoes from Uncle Bryan & Aunt Marcia-Lynn (who were in South Africa for Christmas with her family). Look at Jocie's face :)

That child has the best expressions :)

So for about oh, 6 months, the girls have been asking for a Dream Lite. Well, there dream came true :)
They also liked "helping" everyone else open their gifts....

Lance & Julia got us an "all things Louisville" box. Super cute idea!
HayHay and his new cool toolbox...
Preciousness!

HayHay & Gigi got them each a Leapfrog I-pad thingy. They.Were.Pumped.

Uncle Lance getting it all set up....

Taking a pic of Gigi!

Praise God for smart Uncle Lance. We would still by trying to set those things up today if it weren't for him :)

All bundled up in their new coats to go play outside....
Bless you, Gigi :)

Lunch break!
You can't tell in this picture, but Gabbie's sandwich as LETTUCE AND TOMATO on it. Listen, people.....that is a HUGE deal. The child has refused to eat any kind of fruit and VERY FEW veggies since she was about 1. Well, a few weeks prior to Christmas I had to take her to the doctor for an ear infection and the dr. told her that it was very important for her to eat fruits and vegetables every single day. Ever since then, she has eaten fruit and veggies. I'm totally serious. Almost on a daily basis now she will say, "does that have fruit or vegetable in it?" b/c the dr. told me I needed to eat that. Oh, ok. Glad somebody could get through to her! :)
A healthy sandwich followed by sprinkle-covered biscuits they made.....naturally....

Jewelry makin' time with non-other than the talented Aunt Julia!

Next up....gingerbread houses.....

Jocie convinced Aunt Georgie to join the fun.....you can tell she was super excited :)

Finished products!

Mani's and Pedi's by Aunt Julia.....

We finished off our trip with none other than.....
Home of the greasiest, yet yummiest biscuit known to man....

Of course Gabbie couldn't JUST have a biscuit....man, that child can EAT.
and looooooves it....

Family photo....

Saying goodbye....

On our trip back to Mobile, we stopped in Montgomery for lunch and met up with some of our best friends, Blake & Megan, and their 3 adorable girlies. That's a table full of blonde and estrogen right there :) SO great to see you guys!!
