CCS Color Run

The girls school, Covenant Christian, had their first annual Color Run fundraiser in November. The girls thought is was the coolest thing EVER. It was actually an all-day entire school event at this really awesome farm outside of Mobile. There were jumpy houses, live music, hayrides, cotton-candy machines, popcorn machines, snow cone machines, grilled burgers and dogs, and of course…face painting!

You could either run 1 mile or 3 miles…the girls started off strong….then about 10 steps in Gabs said she was "exhausted" (who's child is she??) and Jocelyn kept sprinting ahead. Shane (gasp!) actually decided to run with Jocelyn while I stayed back with Gabbie as we "took our sweet time". Ever so often throughout the course we would get colored chalk sprayed, dumped, and poured on us- thus the name "Color Run". That, obviously, was the girls favorite part of the entire day. I left my camera in the car, so I was only able to get an after shot….so fun!!
