The Summerville's were our roommates during our two years at seminary in Orlando. The girls were only a couple of months old when we moved down there so they really thought for the first two years of the lives that they had two mamas, two daddies, a brother, and another sister. It was just the way life was. The Summerville's came for a visit this past weekend and the girls were SUPER pumped to see them. The kiddos hadn't seen each other in an entire year. When I told the girls that they were coming to visit the first things they said were: (Jocelyn) Can I play with Jayden? and (Gabbie) Can I give Mamie a hug and sit on her tummy? This was so funny because it exactly describes how things used to be when we all lived together...Jocie and Jayden would play and wrestle together all the time and Gabbie would want Amy (Mamie) to hold her all the time and she especially loved sitting on Mamie's preggo tummy (She was preggo a good bit of the time we lived together. She actually was pregnant with Hope when we left and the girls totally didn't believe me that baby Hope was no longer in Mamie's tummy anymore...they said they would show me when Mamie got here :)
Here are the girls anxiously awaiting their arrival....
The reunion!!! It was so cute to watch them interact with each other...they were a bit shy at first but then soon warmed up and were playing with each other like old times :)
Mamie and her little twinsie Hope. She is PRECIOUS.
Of course Gabbie wanted to hold baby Hope :)
Then Jocie wanted a turn....she had a bit of a hard time "balancing" :)
Gabbie finally getting to "sit" on Mamie's tummy :)
It's so funny to see Hope's legs compared to what Journey's were like at this age....I think Amy said that Journey was something like 4 inches taller at this age....that's crazy!
Awwwwww....they LOVE them some Mamie and some baby Hope :)
and Jayden LOVES him some cars!!
Seeing Amy reminded me that I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE IT through our first year in Orlando without her!! She is such a fantastic friend and helped this CLUELESS mama out SO much :)
The Moore's had Demetrius and Amy over for some hang out time on Sunday night (without the kiddos) so we were able to have some fun adult time. YAY!
Annie, Amy and Jennifer :)
the other Jennifer, me, Amy, and Katie :)
The Boys...Matt, Demetrius, Scott, Shane and the other Scott :)
SO glad you guys got to come for a visit! It was SO great to see ya'll!!
