NYC: Day Three!!

Empire State Building!!

Yes….we snapped a pic of the $30 pic that we could have purchases….don't judge.

It was just a tad bit crowded at the top….but we were still pumped!

The view was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You literally could see everything….

The Chrysler Building….very cool.

Lady Liberty!

the crazy Kat and Colby...

A selfie….of a selfie….of a selfie :)

After the Empire State Building….Shane wanted to grab lunch at the famous Shake Shack….

Annnnnnd he was very pleased :)

Staten Island Ferry!

The view of the city was so pretty from the ferry….

The Brooklyn Bridge….

Ellis Island….

Getting closer to the Statue of Liberty!
There she is!

On our way back to the city….isn't this picture AWESOME?!?

After the Staten Island Ferry cruise….we visited the 9/11 Memorial…..

There are no words to describe what you feel there….just imagining that day….and all those innocent people….
The Memorial was beautiful. Two huge waterfall lakes now mark the spots of where the twin towers stood….and all the names of the lost are written on the walls….

The first new Tower….there will be 7 total when all the re-building is complete…..

That evening we headed off to our last hoooo-raaaah….our first ever BROADWAY SHOW!!!

Early that morning- Georgie went and stood in line for discount tickets (THANK YOU!!). Newsies reg priced tickets were $160/person….Georgie got them for $70/person and we had 3rd row seats in the middle orchestra section!!!!!

SOOOO EXCITED!!

The show was INCREDIBLE. If I could re-live our few days there- we would go to a Broadway show EVERY SINGLE DAY. It was that good.

Afterwards, we waited outside to meet the stars of the show!! We felt like teenagers :)

Shane happened to jump in to this last one….hmmmm wonder why!?!

BEST.TRIP.EVER.!!!!!!
We flew out EARLY the next morning so this was our last trip photo.
SO thankful we were able to do this. Much needed and TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!
I wish Shane turned 40 every year! haha!
