So, for a couple of months, Matt had been planning this gigantor surprise birthday party for Morgan. Not just any birthday....her 30th birthday. BIG DEAL. She was convinced that he was going to do nothing for her birthday or atleast, he would try to throw something together at the last minute. I love that she thought that and then in reality he was doing the exact opposite. It was fun to be a part of the scheme :))
He has invited her relatives and tons of her close friends both from here and out of town. He also wanted the food to be all of her favorites, esp stuff she had not been able to eat because she was nursing Lily and she had to cut out alot b/c of stomach issues Lily has. A karaoke machine was a must as well. All the makings of a fantastic surprise 30th birthday party.....
A few days before she had kind of found out that Matt was planning something (thanks, Becky ;), but he was super cool and played it off brilliantly. He told her that they were going to go to Mark and Kristina's for dinner and then from there they were going to go meet up with some close friends somewhere. In reality, we all were over at Mark and Kristina's waiting for the big "SURPRISE!!!"....

Matt wanted to get her something really special-so he got 30 of her closest family and friends to write her letters and then I put them all together with pictures in a shutterfly book. I LOVE these kind of gifts. So did she :)

We had to head out right after Macon's performance b/c we had to drive over to the beach to meet Shane's fam. I know the party was just getting started. It was awesome! SO glad Morgan turned 30 and Matt wanted to blow it out for her! Whoop whoop!
On a serious note- Morgan, I am so very thankful for your friendship. You are a heart friend for life. So glad to get to celebrate your 30th with you!!
